The New England Center and Home for Veterans is honored to have two runners, Ilana and Mike participating in the upcoming 2015 Boston Marathon on April 20, 2015 to raise critical funds to benefit Veterans served here at the Center.

Ilana Meyer, a senior on the swim team at Bates College in Lewiston, ME, will be running her first marathon ever, in honor of the Veterans served here at NECHV. “I believe in the mission of NECHV and feel that after everything these Veterans have done for our country they deserve to be given as many resources as possible to live a happy and meaningful life.”

Mike “Jake” Warriner, hails from San Diego, CA. With over twenty years of service in the US Navy, he is running to support the education, employment and housing of fellow Veterans. Having run three marathons, this will be his first time running the Boston Marathon.

We hope you’ll consider making a contribution to the team, or a specific runner, helping raise funds towards support, education, employment, and housing services for Veterans. By supporting our runners, Ilana and Mike, you can help end Veteran homelessness in Boston. Thank you!
