The Annual Fund Phonathon Program is one of the oldest and most respected Veterans’ fund-raising programs in the State of Massachusetts and City of Boston. The program was founded over 24 years ago with the mission and purpose of raising $300,000 annually for United States Veterans of all ages and backgrounds in need of housing, shelter, and social services support.
The Annual Fund Phonathon campaign is a year-round effort within the Advancement Department at the New England Center and Home for Veterans, and is one of the few Phonathon programs nation-wide, as well as locally, to not have out-sourced its program to an outside agency or share any donor information with other rental lists or organizations.
Composition and Financial Information
The team consists of a professional team of development fund-raisers who work directly at the Center, with 100% of all funds raised going directly to our Veterans at the New England Center and Home for Veterans.
2014 Campaign: A Helping Hand for Our Veterans!
The campaign year brings a host of new reasons why this program needs to continue raising money for Veterans, namely an increase in younger U.S. Veterans returning from recent tours and wars, and older Veterans who, for many reasons, have no other source of support.
Our men and women in uniform need your support! For more information on adding your name to the Campaign or other ways you can support the Center, please contact Danielle Lavon in Advancement at 617-371-1718 or Danielle.firstname.lastname@example.org.
