Last month, Phase 1 of the Permanent Supportive Housing and Recapitalization Project at NECHV was completed and the project is now moving into Phase 2. During the second phase, many staff members will move to new offices to open their current spaces up for renovation. Current residents will also move to new dormitories, which were equipped with new beds and mattresses with the help of volunteers who came in to assemble the beds.
Small details are also being attended to, such as repairing and repainting the original columns in the main first floor area. Maintaining these original fixtures ensures the rich history of the building is preserved. Take a look at the latest photos below.
