New England Center and Home for Veterans has launched a new Sponsored Meals program, creating an easy way for donors to provide special meals to Veterans. NECHV has worked closely with the new Roche Bros. store in Downtown Crossing to create menu plans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that combine variety and nutrition made from fresh, healthy ingredients.

The Sponsored Meals program was launched on April 4, with a roast beef meal sponsored and served by Stephen and Marianne Phillips. They began sponsoring meals about 5 years ago, working with their local Roche Bros. in Millis, MA to provide Sunday roast beef dinners. Their passion and excitement for the Sponsored Meals program has helped NECHV develop a truly comprehensive meals package and a wonderful partnership with Roche Bros. To mark the launch of the program, there was an official “Roast Beef Cutting” in place of a traditional ribbon cutting, which was attended by the Phillips family, Roche Bros. representatives, and NECHV leadership.

Each meal serves between 100-150 Veterans either living or receiving services at NECHV. Donors can choose to serve the meal in addition to sponsoring it. If you would like to sponsor a meal for Veterans at NECHV, please contact CJ Beck at community.support@nechv.org.
