Gift of Note: Deloitte Impact Day
July 19, 2017
A team of volunteers from Deloitte visited NECHV to work with Veterans in the Center’s Veterans Training School (VTS). The volunteers were participating in Deloitte’s 18th annual Impact Day, a day for Deloitte firms to help in their communities. NECHV was delighted to be able to host Deloitte volunteers again this year.
Last year, volunteers supported the NECHV Operations team by helping around the building. This year, they worked with Veterans on building their résumés, perfecting their narratives, and tightening up elevator pitches to help Veterans get ahead when applying for jobs. We are so grateful to the Deloitte group for sharing their time and expertise with the Veterans, and look forward to welcoming them back soon!
