Gift of Note: Fidelity Cares 2017

May 3, 2017 – A team of volunteers from Fidelity Investments returned to NECHV this year to work with Veterans in the Center’s Veterans Training School (VTS). The volunteers came on behalf of the Fidelity Cares initiative, a community service program in which over 10,000 Fidelity employees participate in around the country. NECHV was honored to be able to host Fidelity volunteers again this year, after welcoming them in 2015 and 2016.

Volunteers worked closely with Veterans on résumés, narrative crafting, and elevator pitches to help Veterans stand out from the crowds when applying for jobs. Fidelity employees also spent their time in the kitchen, serving lunch to the Veterans and spending time with them. NECHV deeply appreciates the time and knowledge Fidelity Cares volunteers shared, and we hope to welcome them back in 2018!
