Gift of Note: Serve with Liberty 2017
NECHV was pleased to welcome a group of volunteers from Serve with Liberty, Liberty Mutual Insurance’s employee community service program on May 9, 2017. In 2016, more than 28,500 Liberty Mutual employees completed over 1,800 service projects.
In past years, Liberty Mutual volunteers have tackled various projects around NECHV, such as refurbishing the historic vaults on the lower level of the building, but this year they brought their talents to the Veterans Training School. There, they worked with Veterans to find ways to help them distinguish themselves from other job applicants by practicing elevator pitches and reviewing résumés. We are so grateful for Liberty Mutual for their commitment to service and the skills they shared with the Veterans at NECHV!
