Black tie optional or join us in celebrating Armistice Day with festive 1918 attire.
Please join the New England Center and Home for Veterans as we mark the 100th anniversary of The Armistice when the guns fell silent on the Western Front, ending World War I, the Great War. Armistice Day became Veterans Day; a national holiday to honor all of those who have served in the Military on behalf of our great Nation.
For the past 15 years, Leave No One Behind has been the signature fundraising event to support the many programs and services at the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV). All proceeds will benefit NECHV’s housing programs, clinical support services, and the onsite Veterans Training School. Each year at Leave No One Behind, a Veteran is recognized with the “Battlefield Citation” for their achievements both during and after their call of duty. The event also honors a corporation and/or an individual who exemplifies the NECHV mission through services for and support of Veterans. This year, the first ever Heart of Service Award will be presented to Kristine DiNardo, M.Ed., LMHC in recognition of her selfless and passionate service to Veterans as NECHV’s Vice President of Human Services.
