Senator Rush Brings In-Kind Goods to Veterans

Senator Michael Rush and his staff visited the NECHV on June 29, 2017 to deliver a donation of toiletries and other essentials to Veterans at the Center. The Senator was received by Andy McCawley, President and CEO; Kevin A. Ward, Senior Vice President, Strategy and CFO; Brian Reeves, Vice President, Operations and Project Management; Marta Budu-Arthur, Director of Community Stabilization Services; and Mark Gough, Director of Corporation and Foundation Relations.

The drive was organized by Senator Rush’s mother, Virginia, through the Dover Center for Development of Children, where she is a teacher.  After delivering the items, the Senator and his staff took a brief tour of the Center to see the recent improvements made during the reconstruction project.

This generous donation provides Veterans with essential items for dignified, independent living. Thank you, Senator Rush and staff, Virginia, and the Dover Center for Development of Children!
